“Well it all started after I returned from an absolutely crazy experience in Dubai in 2015. I won’t spoil it for those who don’t know – it’s chapters 6 & 7 in the book.
When I landed back on my feet & I found employment at a wonderful company called Mark Allen Exhibitions in London in 2016, I met and socialized with many wonderful people there, got involved in a great book club and read many wonderful books – so many of these new friends and colleagues as well as my usual friends were encouraging me to write a book based on the number of crazy stories I have experienced.
I didn’t really pay much attention to it until fast forward to 2022 when the Dubai roller coaster came back to haunt me and prevented me from traveling to Umrah with my family.
As I sat home alone for 2 weeks over the Christmas period I decided I am going to write this book as I need to do something to get myself out of this situation.
As I began to write about my life and remember all the stories, the whole experience was very cathartic and really opened me up and I thought if I am going to communicate my life story to the world- I felt compelled to talk about my faith and the crazy times we are living in.
The Life of This World is temporary, The Life of this world is a test – we are not guaranteed we will see tomorrow so I wrote this book in the hope that I will be able to escape the burden of debt I am in from Dubai – which I hope to clear before the angel of death removes my soul from my body.
