Some Inspiring Quranic Verses

Ramadan Mubarak Everyone!

Ramadan is the month that the Holy Quran was revealed. The Quran is a blessing for so many reasons: it tells us our life purpose (to serve Allah), assures us of Allah’s mercy and justice, and comforts us that our good deeds will be remembered and rewarded for.

Below are some Quranic verses that inspire me:

“…And whosoever fears Allah…He will make a way for him to get out (from every difficulty). And He will provide him from (sources) he never could imagine.” (65:2-3)

“…After a difficulty, Allah will soon grant relief.” (65:7)

“Do you think that you will enter paradise without such trials as came to those who passed away before you? They experienced suffering and adversity and were so shaken in spirit that even the Prophet and the faithful who were with him cried, “When will Allah’s help come?” Ah, verily the help of Allah is near.” (2:214)

“Wealth and sons are allurements of the life of this world: but the things that endure, Good Deeds, are best in the sight of thy Lord, as rewards, and best as (the foundation for) hopes.” (18:46)

“So whoever would hope for the meeting with his Lord – let him do righteous work and not associate in the worship of his Lord anyone.” (18:110)

“…My servants, you who have transgressed against yourselves, do not despair of the mercy of Allah. Truly Allah forgives all wrong actions. He is the Ever-Forgiving, the Most Merciful.” (39:53)

“And I created not the jinn and mankind except that they should serve Me.” (51:56)

“He is the One Who created death and life in order to test which of you is best in deeds…” (67:2)

“And they have been commanded no more than this: To worship Allah, offering Him sincere devotion, being true (in faith); to establish regular prayer; and to practice regular charity; and that is the Religion, Right and Straight.” (98:5)

“And your Lord said, ‘Call on Me, I will respond to you…’” (40:60)

“Allah and His angels send blessings on the Prophet: O you who believe! Send you blessings on him, and salute him with all respect.” (33:56)

“…Surely Allah does not change the conditions in which a people are in until they change that which is in themselves… (13:11).”

“Therefore remember Me. I will remember you…”(2:152)

“If you give thanks, I will give you more…” (14:7)

“…If you count the blessings of Allah, never will you be able to number them…” (14:34)

“…Seek (Allah’s) help with patience and prayer: and most surely it is a hard thing except for the humble ones.” (2:45)

“…And be patient; surely Allah is with the patient.” (end of verse 8:46)

“Allah does not want difficulty for you, but He wants to purify you, and to complete His favor upon you, that you may be grateful.” (end of verse 5:6)

“Anyone who desires the reward in this world shall be given it here, and anyone who desires the reward in the hereafter shall be given it there. Soon We will reward the thankful.” (3:145)

“Every soul will taste death; then you will be given your reward on the Day of Resurrection. Therefore;  whoever is pulled back from Hell and entered into Paradise is the victorious one. And what is the life of this world except a deceptive enjoyment?” (3:185).
