How to Have an Awesome Life: Book Review of “Awesome Life” by Ahsan Khan and Shazad Ahmad

images“Life is like a camera—focus on what’s important, capture the good times, develop from the negatives, and if things don’t work out, take another shot.”

“The Holy Qur’an is a book of wisdom; it is not just a book of historical events or doctrine and commandments stating thou shalt pray, fast during Ramadan, go to Mecca for the pilgrimage and shun evil. It is also a book of human psychology, philosophy and scientific explanation. It encourages a thinking human being to look around, think about things wherever they are and truly reflect on the world.”

–Ahsan Khan and Shazad Ahmad

I had the honor to review a new book by successful businessmen Ahsan Khan and Shazad Ahmad. “Awesome Life: Create the life you always wanted and soar with purpose!” is an awesome book for anyone with “big strong goals to accomplish.”

I LOVE HOW THIS BOOK:

1. Combines wisdom from the Quran and Hadith along with teachings from other religions and philosophies

2. Contains hundreds of fascinating and inspiring quotes..

3. Feels like 10 books in 1 (the book covers such diverse topics as marriage, health, public speaking, meditation, social skills and more)

4. Inspired me to eat a “MAD Salad” once a day (M.A.D. stands for Massive Awesome Delicious). Please read the book for a more detailed recipe.

This book is also clearly written and funny!

“If you have not exercised in a very long time, you may like to start with a five to fifteen-minute walk daily. The concept of achieving 10,000 steps a day (about eight kilometres or five miles) might be a bit ambitious for a beginner. However, if a person were to do this as a lifelong habit, he would have strong legs, a strong heart, normal blood sugar levels, a trim waist, a clear mind, a sense of well-being, a positive self-image, unbreakable self-esteem and the admiration of his family—so starting with five minutes is not a bad bargain.”

“Are your worries or concerns just First World issues? Do they compare to someone living in the Third World contending with food shortages, hungry babies, unclean water, civil war, kidnappings, disease and general lack of personal security? Many people won the lottery of life and don’t even realize it.”

“A great tip for many of us is to never watch news just before going to sleep. In this era, that would include Internet sources of news, too. What will you hear about on the news other than war, accidents, disease, and other disturbing events? This is not a way to fall asleep.”

In conclusion, please read “Awesome Life”. The diverse collection of quotes alone is worth the price. It is available on Amazon.com.
